2

Have been to loads of places since I last blogged...
Have been running ard for every 2 days just to get my friends bday surprise done properely and to get all those super tempting sushi and to some game arcade to have a good shout and for stress relief sessions...

Yea and some bowling!!!

i had never done bowling back in malaysia i think (awww..how sad can I be~)
but i am serious..i had never been to any where in malaysia to go bowling..and my very 1st bowling sessions is in UK...
and yea i suck in bowling...as in seriously suck in t
hat...

and i have a very unglam pose of bowling (which i initially wanted to post it up, but it's just so not right, thus choose to save my own skin and save all those embarrass moments of mine XD)

And the scores are quite embarassing too....lets see....

I didnt start off well...and was trashed by the others right from the beginning....and it looks as if i still have a chance to catch up since there are still a few more rounds to go...

And i thought that i will be lucky after that....

But it didnt seem to well in the end....yikes i ended up with the worst score that i had ever seen....

the highest is 113 and i only get 39????

omggg this is badddd.....

haha blame all of them for being so good in this...

***there shdnt be any bowling sessions right from the start as we are meant to head for some cheap and nice sushi. But anyway all of us are easily distracted and got dragged to the arcade and there is where everything starts and where all the money will go =(***

neways in the arcade i too tried on playing bumper car that i have not touched for a few years!! haha now that i can drive (with a licence back home) driving that is not a problem. So means its car bumping time!! feels so good coz u cant speed and start hitting other's car as u wish (thou i have to admit i once hit my classmate's car last september)

bringing back the inner child of me (blablabla...full of crap...)

And we found bubble milk tea on the streets of UK...wah miracles sometimes do happen u know!!
and all those bubble tea are made of real fruit!! wahh very nice...especially those black tapioca in it!! (and btw its not called "black balls" it just sounds so wrong!!) thx to william for treating me the watermelon and honey dew bubble tea!!

That is one of the days when i am out...and i have been to the same place 2 days after.. and 5 days after the 2 days...OMG whywhywhy!!!

And i went to some other university for some stupid talk again...just taking that opportunity to go to other universities and look around...and yea i was quite right about my sch coz my sch is very small!!! that uni didnt have such a good reputation but considering its size i think it is quite big already..compared to what I have now...oh well i better learn to appreciate my school!! But i have to say getting away from where i am now is kinda fun coz u get the opportunity to look around and get around with ur friends =D

btw that pic above is my sch, during snow time, which is somewhere ard end of january or early febuary...

And I stopped here for a few days...and never manage to continue the post until recently after there is this powercut where i can't use my computer to write this post down...

and now i shall continue with the things that i am suppose to write

I have a statement to make today...
from 16/3/2007 Wenying is officially terrified of a
number...
which is the number "2" a.k.a. "two" in English a.k.a. "dua" in malay
a.k.a. ‘二’ in chinese...

coz we have to made loads of confetti made up of the letter 2...

coz its william's 22nd b'day!!
Happy belated bday william!! (thou i had already said that ages ago)

And to carry out the plan (or the prank that scare the hell out of him xD) we had to make posters which has the number 22 on it, steal paper from the lecture theatre to make a giant poster of 22 on it, place a "any hole will do " poster on his door , and stuffing loads of confetti made up of the number "2" under his door. Imagine how much of embarassment my hallmates had to go thru to get everything done on that day....running around posting all those very funny posters ard the hall (which is all torn down by the person in charge in d halls), trying to put stuff underneath the room door and look as if we are trying to break into the room, taking up posters at some public places in London (and looking retarded at the same time). But i have to say that they did a really good job in carrying out the plan and scaring him to the max!!

but i hope u wont be angry bout what we had done...its meant to b a surprise!!!! and i think we did really well right?

Righttttt??????

neway after all those prank we manage to bring him to some restaurant to have a really filling and satisfying dinner (if u compare to the halls) and we had a good time there. And the cream fight in that restaurant is NOT fun okay...

coz i dont like cream fights...
and its super embarrasing to shout in a restaurant with all eyes on you...

Well ur 22nd bday is obviously fun, seeing that everyone of us have a good time on that day..and YES i forgive u for slamming those cream on my face after 20 minutes!!!

p/s: this post is written right after we have our power supply back after 6 hrs...and omg i shd say staying in london without electricity on a cold windy day is not good. The corridors are spooky and u can't even see things in front of u, my friend nearly slammed into the door coz she cant see anything!! not even the colour of the door!! very chaotic i would say. And our rooms are freezing cold!! The heaters arent working! that means no hot water!!! the moral of the lesson : learn to appreciate thhe presence of electricity!!

Shows and more shows...

Went watching this Merdeka: the Rock musical with some friends on a friday night after much persuasion by friends and family. (yeap, my brother) It is a musical run by KCLMSS and its a 3 day event.

"Seng is a simple, young bicycle repairman in the restless Singapore of the mid-60's, his only joys in life being the wellbeing of his teenage sister, nights out at the local teenage hangout, and his trusty old Stratocaster electric guitar. In many ways, he is your average young man, living an average life.

All that changes when he befriends Mok, a recent arrival from Batu Pahat, who shares his passion for rock music, but hides a mysterious past.

Seng also falls in love with Yip, a waitress at the teenage hangout, but their bliss is short-lived, as the violent emergence of communist-inclined students threaten the safety of all. Alas, Seng’s sister is seduced by the utopian dogma of Communism.

As the world around them crumbles, Seng retreats deeper and deeper into the interior world of his music, believing it to be a talisman against the hostile forces of the outside world. He realizes only too late his folly, when in the end he loses all that he holds dear, the end of his happiness ironically marked by the independence of two new countries.

MERDEKA ends on a hopeful note of reconciliation and kinship, however, as an older Seng of thirty years later truly discovers the meaning of love and forgiveness.

Filled with soaring melodies, romantic lyricism and progressive rock tunes uncommon in the modern musical, MERDEKA is a sweeping love story, breath-taking in its scope and beauty."

So i went with some friends to watch the musical, and surprisingly it is really good. I had some of my friends in that play (yeap both the lead actresses are my friend =P).And i have to say, kudos to the whole team who made this a real success. The halls are full on the friday night and I personally think that the price paid is well worth =)

And i had to say one thing...my brother rocks...like a bat
u.....
when i 1st saw my brother on stage i was like wthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
and after that i start to laugh my head off coz my brother is seriously stoning!!!
LOL

expressionless is the word i guess.
but still he manage to made up on stage for once to act, which is kinda cool

so now i can go ard and tell my friends that i had a brother who actually had act before in a sch play xD
(thou he is a very minor character that u wont even realise...or he isnt any significant person in that play also i think xD)

and so that is for friday...and saturday comes....

there is another Malaysian night going on in Imperial College this time. It is suppose to start at 7 but we are really late due to some unforseen circumstances (ie some tube station closure and stuff) but we still manage to get in on time....

The title of the Imperial M-night performance is titled "The silent cacophony" .

"The silent cacophony is a comedic drama set in the 1950s in Malaysia. the story is concerned around Tasha, the only daughter of an affluent couple living in the city. Tasha's life was blissful until she found herself faced with a life- changing dilemma.

It all started when Tasha's parents decided it was time for her to marry. Following the custom of arranged marriage in those days, they introduced her to two men - hoping that she would fall in love with one of them.

As they had hoped, Tasha did fall in love. Unortunately, with neither of their choices. Instead, she fell for her poor music teacher from the kampung(village) - a man who was still struggling to build a career.

And so Tasha found herself lost in a pool of choices. Choosing between three different men; Choosing between a life of definate wealth, and an uncertain future; choosig between obeying the rules, and rebelling against the social norms; choosing between her family, and her true love.

Will love triumph all = as the hopeless romantics believe? And if so, is it for the love of a man or the love of family?"

And guess what, the whole show is juz fabulous!!! The performances are carried out pefectly according to the original story line...omg juz great. Had never actually went for any of the malaysian nights before but i had to say they are really impressive. With loads of different dances and a lucky draw prizes and stuff, i really did enjoy a good laugh. And apparently, the narrator of the whole story is called "captain jack pipet" xD The whole Imperial night has this pirate theme and dancers dressed in costumes =)

and i really did enjoy the dikir barat performances!!

It is always the highlight for any M nights coz its always the most amazing and the best performance of all time!!!
I will post up some pictures of the M night if possible =)
But this time round no pics are taken so i had to get it from some friends.
just go try google it and see whether u can find the videos of the imperial M night (and the dikir) =)

And not to forget,,,Jimmy Choo is there!! He is at the Imperial M- night thingy and giving out lucky draw prizes. But anyway right, i see him!! Finally!! haha he is a very short fella eh >< )

So as the M night starts late, so normally it will end late right??? So the whole thing ended at ard 12. And my friends and I went for some drinks and supper (or breakfast u can call) til alm
ost 430am only we start heading back home...

OMG i havent been out this late since dunno when....but one thing for sure, the place we went is not a good place to go especially at weekends and late nights like this. U can see a lot of ppl getting really high and start singing on the streets, drunkards are normal at that place too. Yikes. a very scary place that i do not recommend anyone to go at that time of the day.

And now its almost 5 which is way beyond my sleeping time so here i am blogging at some weird hr of the day instead of catching up with sleep.

p/s: btw right, on the 3rd of march there is some lunar eclipse in UK. And the moon is red in colour!! i manage to catch a glimpse of the moon just before i went taking the tube back to some other places on that night. It is really beautiful. And the next lunar eclipse will be somewhere around august which can be visible in aussie and the eastern countries =)

And below are some of the pics of lunar eclipse that i didnt take...coz i was in the Imperial M-night!!
Compilation by me =)

And those are the pics taken at Stonhenge. Found it online and thinks that this pic is great!!

And this pic on my right is the whole sequence of the lunar eclipse...very very pretty =)
